Easily, but it takes the right attitude. Be willing to bring your own food to an event if you feel the food served will not help you lose weight. If you bring your own food, put a smile on your face and let others know you are trying to bring more health and fitness into your life… reassure them that it’s nothing personal.
If bringing your own food is out of the question, choose from the foods being served, and use portion control techniques instead. When planning to use portion control, it is always better to be safe than sorry. It is better to slightly under-eat a portion size… don’t worry, you will certainly not starve.
