Mid-County Club Instructor of The Month is Mary Prioux
Mary has been teaching Group X since 1986! She has been teaching for Exygon since 2004. Mary is certified in numerous Group X classes offered at Exygon. Although Mary does not actively have her own class at Exygon (by her choice), she is a HUGE part of our Group X program subbing as much as possible in our morning programs. Mary stays up to date with our Group Active, Group Blast, and Group Core choreography so she may be readily available to sub when her team members need her which is quite often.Mary has been married for 45 years to David Prioux, Sr. She has two awesome sons, David and Michael who are both Chiropractors. She has a daughter-in-law Erin. Three beautiful granddaughters Jaycie, Danyel, Grace, and one handsome grandson, Isaac.
The Beaumont Club Instructor of The Month is Derek McWilliams
Derek entered the fitness realm in 2009. He has been teaching for Exygon since 2011. Derek is certified in numerous Group X classes offered at Exygon. Derek teaches about 8 classes a week on a regular basis which include Group Core, Cycle, Group Ride, and Group Power. He is always eager to help out as much as possible when a team member is needing a sub. He always helps out with a smile on his face even though his regular class load is heavy. Derek has been known to teach/sub 3 classes in a row on several occasions. Derek’s passion is to motivate others to reach their fitness goals.Derek is currently serving a third term as President of the Sea Rim Striders Running Club, a Division Trainer for the American Cancer Society, and volunteers his time with March for Babies. He currently works as the Multi-Media Consultant for VIP magazine of Southeast Texas.
