Mariah Sexton

I have been very involved in health and fitness since I started working at Exygon in 2010. I began as a Membership Coordinator and worked my way through as a front desk and kid’s club employee. I was apart of the group fitness department as mainly a Zumba instructor, but no longer am due to knee problems. I have experienced my own personal weight-loss achievements which started in 2013, and that is what truly got me interested in becoming a personal trainer. The weight-loss of now close to 70 pounds has changed my entire outlook on fitness and weight loss. My own personal lifestyle change has really inspired me to help others in reaching their own personal fitness goals. I graduated in August 2014 with a bachelor’s in Exercise Science and Fitness Management with a minor in Kinesiology teaching. I currently have certifications in CPR/First aide and my Personal Training certification is through the American College of Sports Medicine. I am in the process of getting my nutrition certification and plan to continue training at Exygon Health and Fitness. I look forward to being the best I can to help motivate others, change lives, and challenge others’ fitness goals to be reached!
