I want to lose weight but I have to make myself exercise!

I have to make myself exercise

I have to make myself exerciseHere are the facts according to David Katz, MD, MPH, director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center and of the Yale Preventive Medicine Center, “Lifestyle changes that include a healthier diet, regular physical activity, and weight loss of 7%-10%, have shown phenomenal health benefits that can be more effective than medications”.  Also according to Katz, 90% of all diabetes, 80% of heart disease, and 60% of cancers are preventable with healthier lifestyles and normal body weights.  This gives us something to think about.  If losing just 10% of our current body weight improves health, then an individual weighing 175 lbs., with a goal weight of 135 lbs., would only have to lose 17 lbs. to see an improvement in health status and decreased risks for diseases such as diabetes, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and sleep apnea.

After reading this, do you really still have to MAKE yourself exercise?  Get up, get moving, and LIVE LONGER, healthier lives with just 30-60 minutes a day of vigorous exercise.  Treadmill brisk walk or jog, attend cardio classes, strength train, and cycling are all great ways to get moving and improve your health.  Exygon has a variety of exercise classes and machines to help you; visit a few and find your favorite exercise so you can attain or maintain good health.
