Exygon Health and Fitness Club hosted a two-day fundraising event called #ExygonCares: Imelda Relief Drive benefiting flooding relief in Southeast Texas on September 30, 2019 and October 1, 2019.
We partnered with the Dream Center of Southeast Texas, the Southeast Texas Food Bank, and Sweet Pups Animal Rescue. There were three ways to participate:
- Exygon will donate $1 for every check-in. Current members and non-members can participate by visiting the Beaumont or Nederland locations and checking-in.
- Participants can donate at either location or online at exygon.com/exygoncares. For every $5 donation, participants will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of two 1 year memberships to Exygon.
- Use #ExygonCares on your social posts. If there are 500 uses of the hashtag by the end of October 1, Exygon will donate an additional $500.
“Our area has been through so much. These are easy ways to help people who need assistance after Imelda.” said Travis Dugger, President and CEO of Exygon Health and Fitness Clubs.
We are happy to announce that with the help of the Southeast Texas community, we were about to donate $4,891 including the one-year membership we gave away to promote this cause.
